Where are We?

The University of Southern Mississippi is located in Hattiesburg, near the intersection of of US 49, US 98 and I-59. Several hotels/motels are located within a short drive of the campus.

There are three main motels which have been used by USM: Cabot Lodge on Hwy 49 (1-601-264-1881); Hampton Inn at I-59 and Hwy 98 (1-601-264-8080); and Holiday Inn on Hwy 49 (1-601-268-2850). A more comprehensive list of hotels/motels is available from TravelWeb, however the choices have widened in recent years and the visitor to USM or Hattiesburg is encouraged to examine a variety of alternatives.
