ABSTRACT

A Quadrature Technique for Reaction Rate Identification

Seth F. Oppenheimer, W.L. Kingery, K. Willeford, F.X. Han

We will discuss a method for identifying rate constants for chemical systems which are modeled by ordinary differential equations in the case when the equilibrium of the system is well understood. We expect to discuss convergence and error bounds. We will try to have some parameter studies done comparing our method with the more standard least squares technique. If experimental work preceeds well, we should have an actual example of application.
