Sungwook Lee

I have known Jun-ichi since back when I was a senior Ph.D. student at the University of Connecticut in 2000. He is a very bright and knowledgeable mathematician. I have learned a lot about mathematics, especially differential geometry from him. I always feel lucky to have known him as a research collaborator and a good friend.

Marianty is my distant academic cousin. She and I have the same academic great grandfather Professor Shiing-Shen Chern.

Khin is the chairman of the Physics Department here at Southern Miss. He is like a big brother to me. He is from Burma. According to him, there are no first names and last names in Burmese names. His name means like "darling, darling, darling." It sounds pretty sweet and he is indeed a very sweet guy.
