      • I participated in 2019 NSF-HBCU Summer School on Computational Modeling of Disordered Solids at the University of Southern Mississippi as an organizer and also as a speaker. The summer school provided participants mobile workstations (laptops) preloaded with Ubuntu for computing. I talked about Linux operating system and gave a crash course on how to use it. My talk title is What is Linux?. Its slides can be viewed here. The list of basic Linux commands that we discussed in the afternoon lab session can be found here.

        I am participating in USM MD5 (Formerly TKX) FY 2017 2Q.

        I participated in PIC Math Data Analytics Workshop at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. For someone whose academic backgound is outside of the topic it was really an eye-opening and inspiring experience thanks to Randy Paffenroth. I also thank for Michael Dorff for his kind hospitality.

        I joined TKX (Technology Knowledge eXchange) project, a DOD funded project of USM School of Computing, for the summer. I thank Andy Sung, the director of USM School of Computing for the opportunity.
